Hi, I'm Chris Adams and I'm raising money to go to Tanzania to try and improve the lives of some of the school children there. I'm going as part of a World Challenge expedition from my school, Tadcaster Grammar School, UK. But to go I need to raise over £3,500 and I'd like your help.
I've got between now and early next summer to raise the money and
I will be there for most of August 2010.
I intend to raise the money through a combination of working for friends and neighbours, fund-raising and corporate sponsorship. Why not follow progress on my blog - just click the my blog button on the left.
If you shop on-line then why not do this shopping through Easyfundraising.org.uk.
The shops there (which include Argos, Asda, Sky, Tesco, Currys and
many other big names) will sponsor me at no cost at all to you.
Or if you'd like to make a straight-forward donation then I've
also set up a link through Paypal's Send Money to a Friend service.
So again, just click the links on the left to find out more and
to help.
Any potential corporate sponsors that might be reading this and
could help would also be very welcome. If you can sponsor me then
please let me know what I can do for you in return. I'd be happy
to publicise your generosity both through this website and while
I'm out and about raising the rest of the money. Remember, the earlier
you sponsor me the longer I'll be able to publicise your generousity.
Go on, click the contact me link. You know it makes sense!
You may also have some good ideas about how I might raise the money.
If you have then I'd love to hear from you. Perhaps you've already
done the World Challenge yourself and you'd like to share how you
did it.
Of course, you'll also find details about the challenge through
the links. Please look at these as they will show you just how much
better off we are than our friends in Tanzania and just how easy
it is for us to help them. I believe this really is a very worthwhile
cause and that's why I'm asking for your help. However much you
give, pennies or pounds, will be greatly appreciated and will make
a real difference. Thanks!
